A photograph I like

This image was taken by us in the holidays in the last year. Every year I propose a date to gather around my passion, the bicycle. I like this photo because represents the unity and support of my family. Although we are not all in the picture, I have the memory of those who are not there.

In this case it shows when we are on the slopes of the volcano after a race to participate in a contest that we don't win :( despite that it was a beautiful moment that was immortalized. The next holidays I'm planning will go to Cascadas and go around the Osorno volcano, there are the most precious places that I see, and they have the best salmon and artisan beers.

I'm waiting for a new crossing with the people that I love, I would like to make this a family habit.

A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

Hi everybody! Welcome to my blog. This time I am going to show you which country I would like to visit. This country is New Zealand because I have loved nature since I was very young, and this country is characterized by its landscapes and natural environments, as well as respect for nature is enacted, so this dream has become  a goal. I think it is the place where I would like to spend the rest of my life. What I know about New Zealand is that it is an island, or rather a lot of islands, which, despite having a monarchy is considered one of the freest countries and with the greatest respect for rights. I know that his main language is English and that the demonym is "kiwi" As I mentioned before, if I had the opportunity I would like to live in this country, mainly for the culture, the quality of life and the landscapes.  Thanks for reading, I hope to see you!

Why did I choose this career?

Hi, it's me again! I'm going to show my reasons to  choose  Social Work. Although when I'm a  child, my  dream job  was be  a mechanic because was my environment and I see my dad and brother repair cars, motorcycles, trucks, machinery and a lot of things in my house and I  wanted to help them . But over time I was  realizing  that my passion were the political sciences or the study of the society, this is why my options were between sociology and social work.  Finally, I   have decided  the last because is a profession that we can do thinks to improve the society and help the find  better  ways to have a better life.  This includes both of the parts that I need to be happy with me and my environment. My experience in the university is gratifying, is a place where I can find the achievement and fulfilment like a person, I make a lot of friends and my teachers are awesome.  The kind of job I would like t...

My favourite career-related website

The website that I can say is my favorite is the Social Work' electronic magazine of the Universidad de Concepción, because give us academic articles bianually with the aim of disclosing advances in the discipline and of supporting the work of the professionals who work in it, as well as contributing to the dialogue with other disciplines of the Social Sciences. I visit this website semiannually when they publish a new edition. For example the last number of editions was 17th and was published in July of this year. This number has eleven articles and one of these was written by students of third year of Social Work at Universidad de Chile, they are our colleagues. The article written by them is entitled "Social policies and civil participation in key of a perspective of  rights: a debt on the part of the state". I think is an interesting platform on that I can put a day it brings over of our reality and I'd like to write an article that can will be published.
